FREE MEDICAL CAMP WITH FREE MEDICINE DISTRIBUTION AT PASCHIM SURENDRANAGAR< SUNDARBANS

Free Health Camp was organised by AIM Foundation at Pashchim Surendranagar, located in Pathar Pratima Block, Sundarbans, 24 Parganas (South), West Bengal, on 14th July, 20219 in association with the Department of Forest, Government of West Bengal. The camp, held with the goal of providing accessible healthcare to underserved communities, saw an overwhelming response, with a total of 267 patients receiving treatment.

The health camp offered a wide range of medical services, including consultations with experienced doctors, health screenings, and free medicines. Patients were from rural and remote areas where access to healthcare facilities is limited. As a result, this initiative was a critical step toward addressing healthcare disparities and ensuring that individuals who might otherwise go without medical care could receive necessary attention.

The health camp focused on common health concerns, such as general health check-upsblood pressure monitoringdiabetes screening, and treatment for minor ailments. Along with the medical services, free medicines were distributed to those in need, ensuring that patients could continue their treatment without financial strain.

In collaboration with the Department of Forest, the event also aimed to raise awareness about health issues that are particularly relevant to the local community, which is situated near forested areas. The camp served as a platform for promoting preventive healthcare practices and encouraging individuals to seek timely medical care.

By organizing such initiatives, AIM Foundation continues to contribute to the well-being of marginalised communities, helping to bridge the gap between rural populations and essential health services. The success of this free health camp reflects the foundation's ongoing commitment to improving healthcare access, promoting health awareness, and fostering community well-being in West Bengal.
